1.

PHOTOS OF YOUR CAR.
Photos should not include you, your family, friends, pets, trees or scenic views. NO DISTRACTIONS

2.

UNDERSTANDING YOUR MONITOR AND PHOTOS.
6 megapixel photos are great for printing on billboards, magazines or very large photos.  Large megapixel photos will not work on the internet.  We limit the maximum photo width to 500 pixels.  Here are the reasons why:
1.  The photo would be so large on the screen you could only see the car door on your monitor.  You would have to scroll back and forth and up and down to see the photo.  You could never see the car.
2.  It would take quite a while for just 1 photo to load.
3.  Most monitors in use today are either 800 pixels or 1024 pixels wide.
4.  At 500 pixels wide the photos of your car on our website will load fast and can be seen on any monitor.

3.

TAKING YOUR PHOTOS.
When taking photos always have the sun behind you.  Never late in the day as shadows will make your car look damaged.  If you have a white car, don't park it in front of a white building.  Don't leave something on the seats or floor.  3/4 front and rear shots are always the best.

4.

EDIT YOUR PHOTOS.
Crop your photo to what should be seen.
Never crop smaller than 500 pixels wide.  After cropping, resize the photo to 500 pixels wide.
If you don't have the software to do this then use ours.  CLICK HERE TO CROP & RESIZE.

5.

CROP & RESIZE YOUR PHOTOS
Practice with the photo we have provided.  The arrows move the photo left-right-up-down-larger & smaller. The window is 500 pixels wide.  Adjust the photo so only the vehicle fits in the window.  When you think the photo shows what you want, click on CROP & SAVE, you will now see the photo as it would appear in your ad.
